The McHenry County Saddle Club Barrel Series will be held on Tuesday, August 13th, 2024 in Granville, North Dakota. This Granville rodeo is held at McHenry County Saddle Club.

Open 4D $35, 1/2, 1/2, 1 second splits
Senior (50 as of Jan 1st) 3D, $25, full second splits
Youth (16 & under as of Jan. 1st) 3D, $25, full second splits, Cannot enter PeeWee
PeeWee (10 & under) $5, If a child runs in the Peewee they cannot enter Youth. Peewees receive a prize each night.
Office Fee $5.00 per horse. PeeWees do not pay office fee.
Time Onlys to start at 5:15-5:30,5:30-5:45, 5:45-6, 6-6:15, 6:15-6:30 PM $10/15 Min/10 people
Arena is closed at 6:30 to work it and the Race begins at 6:45PM, with PeeWees, Open, Youth and Senior to run together.
Saddle Series
Prize membership for each division must be paid prior to riding for points to count. $40 Open, $40 Youth, $25 Senior if only running in Senior NOT rolling to Open.
Points are awarded each division Open and Youth 1st-11 pts, 2nd-10pts, 3rd -9pts etc. Everyone will receive at least one 1pt if they ride.
Rider can ride multiple horses but the points go to the Rider/Horse combination.
Points for prizes are accumulated on the 6-Tuesday Night Barrel Races Only. It is the Riders responsibility to use the same horse name for points. If you switch between the registered name and barn name points will not be re-done.
Top Prize for High Point Open and Youth is a $2000 saddle certificate. Prizes will be given out for the Top Ten for both Open and Youth. Divisional Prizes for Open, Youth and Senior.
New this year to break ties.
The Rider/Horse combination that earns the most points in the last race for points in a division will break all ties. EXAMPLE: Tie for the saddle certificate one rider in the 1D and the other 4D. Last barrel race for points - 1D rider places 3rd in the 1D for 9 pts, 4D rider wins the 4D and earns 11 pts the 4D Rider would win the Saddle Certificate the 1D rider would be the reserve champion.
