The 18th Annual Gold Dust Rodeo will be held on Friday, June 24th – Saturday, June 25th, 2022 in Idaho City, Idaho. This Idaho City rodeo is held at Jim Haswell Arena.
A 2 day ICA sanctioned Prime rodeo always held the last Friday and Saturday of June in Idaho City.

AWARDS: NOVICE BULL RIDING: In the event of a 1st place tie – additional buckle will be ordered. Must be ordered so will be delay of receiving by contestant. However – Added monies will remain at $100 and split accordingly.

Ground Rules:
Contestants must park in the contestant parking only. Signs will be posted. No overnight parking at any time during the event.
Contestant fee’s cover contestant entry and one companion. All other helpers/dependents will need to pay entry fee at front gate. Contestant’s companions must be present at check in time.
Timed event contestants must enter thru Gate F of the warm up arena at the southwest corner of the arena and exit through the same gate. EXCEPT: Barrel Racers – enter & exit from GATE A.
Contestants with shared horses must make arrangements with the gate personnel/arena director prior to performance.
Arena will be closed 1 hour prior to the performance. Gates will be closed during events. NO WARM UP/RIDING IN THE BALL FIELD ACROSS THE STREET.
No Dogs past the designated contestant parking area.
Persons behind the rough stock chutes shall be only contractor personnel, Gold Dust arena personnel, contestant and one helper if needed. NO CHILDREN BEHIND CHUTES!
At no time during the performances are individuals allowed to sit or stand on any of the arena gates or fence panels.
No horses tied overnight in any rodeo designated area. Friday night all contestants and animals required to exit the rodeo grounds by 12:00 am and Saturday night all contestants and animals required to exit the rodeo grounds by 2:00 am.
