Ground Rules: Two Go Rounds + Finals, straight flip: 1st go will be ran in slack (Tuesday, August 16, 9:00am). 2nd go will begin one hour after the completion of the 1st go in slack. 2nd go round trades are taken by secretary after the stock draw and until the end of the 1st go. Saturday, August 20 Finals "short round" will be the top 12 after 2 go rounds. Order will be determined by random draw. Any ties will be broken by the Judges. If splits/ties result in the final round refer to WPRA Rule 10.3.5.5 for clarification. Directors will rake after each barrel racer in the finals. Rules 9.3.13 and 9.2.23 will be strictly enforced. Horse abuse on the Caldwell Night Rodeo grounds will not be tolerated. These ground rules will be enforced by the PRCA judges witnessing the infraction(s). These actions are in addition to any disciplinary actions imposed by the WPRA. Any contestant who mistreats an animal (to include striking with hand) anywhere on the Caldwell Night Rodeo grounds may be suspended from further competition and may be escorted from the premises.
Tractor drag after 6 in all go rounds and finals. All notified turn outs and Releases from each performance and slack will be taken out of the draw after the turn out deadline. Positions will move up and be posted at the rodeo office before the rodeo begins. I.E. If you are number 9 and there are 2 releases prior to you, you will be draw number 7. Committee will drag at 6 or fewer. **any notified turnouts who do reverse their turnout will run at the end of their performance/slack with no additional dragging for them.
