The 5th Annual Old Santa Ynez Days Rodeo will be held on Saturday, June 22nd, 2024 in Santa Ynez, California. This Santa Ynez rodeo is held at Chumash Arena.
The 5th Annual Old Santa Ynez Days Rodeo is presented by The Santa Ynez Valley Western Heritage Foundation. This two day event is a Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA) qualifying rodeo. Join us for a fun filled family event as we celebrate our western culture in the heart of beautiful Santa Ynez, California.

Ground Rules: Trade Dealine: June 17 4:00pm MT. Tractor Drag at half of what it is set up for; 5 if set up for 10 and 6 if set up for 12 (Condensed). All notified turnouts and releases from each performance and slack will be taken out of the draw after the turnout deadline. Positions will move up and be posted at the rodeo office before the rodeo begins. I.E. If you are number 9 and there are 2 releases prior to you, you will then be number 7. Committee will drag at 5 or fewer if set up for 10, 6 or fewer if set up for 12. **any notified turnouts who do reverse their turnout with the rodeo secretary will run at the end of their performance/slack with no additional dragging for them. There will be 7 fighter planes in a flyover at the start of the rodeo. Contestants will have a one minute warning by the announcer. This will be coordinated with the national anthem. The "Walk-Up Replacement" Policy will be in effect.
