Your back number given to you at check in will be your pass to get into the arena and grandstands for the weekend and your one buddy pass will be included in your check-in packet so it is important to check in as soon as you arrive on the grounds. IRA Cards will not get you into the arena or the grandstands - you must have your back number or buddy pass to access those areas. Stalls and shaving can be purchased in the office at the time of check in. Stalls or tie-outs are $40 for the weekend, pay when you check in. RV hook-ups are very limited on a 1st come, 1st served basis at $40 for the weekend. Please keep in mind that no campfires are allowed on the facility grounds at any time. Entry Fee: $270 per event with $170 of that entry going into the pay-out, $50 to the Incentive, $30 to the stock charge, and $20 for the general membership refund. You will receive that $20 general membership refund back simply by attending the meeting on Sunday at 9am in the covered area by the stalls. All entries for the finals must be in the office by August 31 and checks cleared through the bank before you can compete. When checking in at the finals you will receive a form for election of officers. Please put some thought into who will represent our association for the coming year and fill out those election forms. Finally, rule proposals must be in the office by August 31 in order to be included on the general election agenda. You must be present at the general membership meeting to present your proposal. Entry fees and rule proposals should be mailed to the IRA - 118 Washington Street, Grand River, IA 50108 Pay-off for Finals is still being finalized at this time; buckles will be awarded out on Sunday to the finals average champions in each event and the all-around events. Checks will not be available until Sunday with all of your finals winnings paid out on one check for the weekend. In addition, you need to check with your event directors as some have also secured go-round awards for you. Rodeo & Stock of the Year Awards will be voted on when you check in at the finals and will need to be completed and turned into the office before you are able to compete at the finals. There will also be a Contestant Information Sheet that needs to be completed within your check-in packet that must be turned into the office before you can compete in order to help our announcer fill time during the performance if needed. Finals Positions: 1st Go - Will run 15th place to 1st place based on year end standings going into finals 2nd Go - Will run 1st place to 15th place based on year end standings going into finals 3rd Go - Will run 15th place to 1st place for all events except barrels Dress Code and Grand Entry: Saturday performances we need everyone dressed in Red, White, and Blue attire to honor our Veterans. Sunday's performance is being dedicated to the Cops, Paramedics and Firefighters so we need everyone dressed in Black & Blue attire. Check with your event director to confirm who will need to ride in Grand Entry.
