The Stockyards Championship Rodeo will be held on Friday, August 30th – Sunday, September 1st, 2024 in Fort Worth, Texas. This Fort Worth rodeo is held at Cowtown Coliseum.
The world’s only year round rodeo every Friday and Saturday night at 7:30pm in the historic Fort Worth Cowtown Coliseum. The Stockyards Championship Rodeo maintains a strong commitment to visitors looking for an authentic Western Cowboy Experience. The show features bull riding, tie down roping, team roping, barrel racing, bronc riding and break away roping. Plus calf and mutton scrambles for the kids!

Ground Rules: Trade Deadline: August 23 4:00pm MT. Tractor Drag at 5 (Condensed). All notified turnouts and releases from each performance and slack will be taken out of the draw after the turnout deadline. Positions will move up and be posted at the rodeo office before the rodeo begins. I.E. If you are number 9 and there are 2 releases prior to you, you will then be number 7. Committee will drag at 5 or fewer if set up for 10, 6 or fewer if set up for 12. **any notified turnouts who do reverse their turnout with the rodeo secretary will run at the end of their performance/slack with no additional dragging for them. All contestants are required to check in with the rodeo secretary and will be required to wear provided contestant numbers in performances and slacks. Slack order: GB, LB, TD, TR, SW. The "Walk-Up Replacement" Policy will be in effect.
