Turnouts – You have up until pre-entries close to draw out. If you need to draw out after pre-entries are closed, you will have to provide either a vet note or doctor note. If you fail to provide proof, you will need to pay for your entries in full at the next race.
Helmets – Helmets are encouraged for all riders to wear as what we do is dangerous. However, helmets are required to be properly worn for all riders 17 years and under the day of the race at every RCBR barrel race. This is required when you are on horseback, whether it be just standing, warming up, or running in the arena. If you are under 18 years old and we see you without a helmet, you will be called to the office. Disqualification from the race and forfeit your entry fees is subject to management. This rule is also on your entry form that everyone agrees to when signing it.
Cruelty to Animals – Cruelty in any way – which includes excessive whipping, spurring or jerking - will not be tolerated during any event. You are expected to behave in a sportsmanlike conduct at all times and if not, you will be asked to leave the grounds and you will not receive a refund. Respect your animals – please.
Rider & Spectator Behavior – All riders and spectators are expected to behave in a sportsmanlike manner. Please be nice to your fellow rider and encourage others to do well. Use common sense and courtesy to others at our events. Riders using foul language, screaming, yelling, harassing, intimidating or making detrimental remarks to other rider & spectators, club staff, about the club will be asked to leave without a refund.
Disposal of Trash – Please be courteous of the grounds in which we hold events. Our club has an excellent reputation for leaving our facilities neat, clean and void of any trash. Help us keep it that way and dispose of any trash that you might use or find.
Refunds – Refunds will be determined on an individual basis. There are no refunds for grounds fees or for time only’s.
Right to Refuse Entries – Our club has the right to refuse any entry or membership to anyone for any reason.
