The Rapid City Open will be held on Thursday, February 2nd – Saturday, February 4th, 2023 in Rapid City, South Dakota. This Rapid City rodeo is held at The Monument Summit Arena.
Televised nationwide and nominated 20 times as the Top Five Large Indoor Rodeo of the Year, with four title wins including back to back wins in 2020 and 2021, Rodeo Rapid City has become an important stop on the road to the National Finals Rodeo. This is an opportunity to see a world class professional rodeo in a facility designed for a great fan experience!

Ground Rules: Trade Deadline: January 26 5:00pm MT. GB Approved for first event in slack. Tractor Drag after 5. All notified turn outs and Releases from each performance and slack will be taken out of the draw after the out deadline. Positions will move up and be posted at the rodeo office before the rodeo begins. I.E. If you are number 9 and there are 2 releases prior to you, you will be draw number 7. Committee will drag at 5 or fewer. **any notified turnouts who do reverse their turnout will run at the end of their performance/slack with no additional dragging for them. Rule rule 12.8.2.1.1.
