The LSYRA Saddle Series will be held on Saturday, February 24th – Sunday, February 25th, 2024 in Athens, Texas. This Athens rodeo is held at Henderson County Fairgrounds.

Rodeo Schedule
All rodeos are two separate rodeos in one weekend.
September 23 and 24, 2023
October 21 and 22, 2023
December 2 and 3, 2023
January 20 and 21, 2024
February 24 and 25, 2024
March 16 and 17, 2024
May 3,4,5, 2024 (FINALS)

ENTRY DEADLINE
All entries are due Tuesday by Midnight the week of the Rodeo via our
​ONLINE ENTRY SYSTEM.
(EXAMPLE: For Rodeo 1- August 27, 2022-Entries will close Tuesday Aug 23, 2022 at Midnight)
NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED.
NO LATE FEES WILL APPLY.
NO EXCEPTIONS.
NON-MEMBERS can enter upto 4 rodeos.

STALLS & RVs
There is a NO TIE-OUT rule from the facility. Any horse staying overnight is required to be in a stall. Stalls are first come first serve.
Stalls are $25 per horse per night and you must purchase a minimum of 1 bag of shavings per stall ($5).
No outside shavings are allowed per facility.
RVs are $25 per night.

GATE FEE
Anyone who enters the facility gates (contestants & family members) will be subject to a$5.00 admittance ​fee.

RAFFLE TICKET SALES
All LSHSRA Members will be required to sell & TURN IN $150.00 of Raffle Tickets to be eligible for Year End Awards.

VENDORS
Please contact Facility if you want to become a vendor. The association no longer handles vendors/payments.

WORK POINTS
All LSHSRA Members (or a parent of a contestant) will be required to work 4 total events during the year (2 before January and 2 after January) or buy out for $100 to be eligible for Year End Awards. There is a parent working dress code.

Points will be given through 15th place.
