The Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo will be held on Saturday, July 23rd – Sunday, July 31st, 2022 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This Cheyenne rodeo is held at Cheyenne Frontier Park and hosted by Hi Lo Pro Rodeo.
Known for its fast pace and large number of contestants, The Rodeo ensures visitors see more rodeo action than they can see at any other rodeo.

GENERAL GROUND RULES
1. The Cheyenne Frontier Days Committee assumes no responsibility or liability for injury or damage to the person, property, or stock of any participant, whether a contestant or not. Each participant, by the act of participation, waives all claims against the committee for injuries she or her property may sustain.
2. No Replacements. Non-notified turnouts will result in a $100 Cheyenne Frontier Days fine in addition to WPRA fine.
3. Contestants making the short round at another rodeo will NOT be moved.
4. Contestants will enter the arena from the north end. Entry gate will remain closed. No foot traffic through T-5 Gate.
5. While competing, contestants must wear their own numbers securely pinned on their back in a manner that is visible to the officials and events staff. WPRA will issue a $50.00 fine for individuals who do not have their number securely pinned on their back and visible.
6. No horses are permitted in the arena on qualifying round mornings prior to the start of qualifying rounds.
There will be no exercising of horses in the arena prior to rodeo, night show, or qualifying rounds. PRCA, WPRA arena rules and CFD ground rules are in effect in the ready area, Chute 9 area and north end of the arena.
7. Every contestant must pick up her number and sign a release at the Contestants Office prior to competing.
8. Only entered contestants and one companion allowed with contestant number and CFD issued companion pass. Said companion pass will be issued on request by contestant at check in. PRCA/WPRA gold card holders can obtain a CFD issued companion pass for gate access at the Contestants Office.
9. Parking Passes will be valid for days of competition, semi-finals and finals qualifiers will have to get another parking pass. Please check with the Rodeo Office for other local accommodations with stalls and camping facilities or for circumstances necessary for extended parking.
10. A limited number of horse stalls are available and will be available in specified barns on a first come, first come basis for entered contestants. Feed buckets cannot be used to “reserve” or mark a stall as taken. Buckets or any other device determined by committee to be in stall area for sole purpose of saving a space will be removed from the stall by the Committee. Anyone altering the stall dividers will be ejected from the stall barns.
11. In any event, a contestant not ready when called during a performance or section of qualifying round will be fined $100, and/or may be disqualified from that go round in which the offense is committed. Timed event contestants are required to be in the box as preceding animal is release and in the process of leaving the arena.
12. There will be a ride time, Wednesday, July 13th from noon to 3 pm. Barrels will be on the markers and only WPRA members entered in the barrels in Cheyenne will be permitted in the arena for this ride time.
13. The Cheyenne Frontier Days All Around Champion will be the Cowboy or Cowgirl who wins the most total money in two or more events. In the event no one wins money in more than one event, it will be the Cowboy or Cowgirl who wins the most total money while entered in more than one event.
