The American Royal Pro Rodeo will be held on Thursday, May 4th – Saturday, May 6th, 2023 in Kansas City, Missouri. This Kansas City rodeo is held at Hale Arena and hosted by Smith Pro Rodeos.

Stalls: Yes. Free indoor stalling is available on a first come, first serve basis. Note these are on concrete and outside shavings are allowed. No tie-outs allowed. Electrical hook-ups are available on first come first serve basis. Water is available to fill up.

Ground Rules: Trade Deadline: April 27 5:00pm MT. Co-approved with Prairie Circuit. Hand rake after every run. No one including contestants, is allowed on the arena floor once the ground has been prepared prior to the start of the performance. Only actual contestant and one companion allowed gate access. Contestants must check-in with secretary to get a companion pass. All contestant vehicles and trailers are allowed to park on grounds in Lot A. An exercise pen will be available in the warm up arena. Hospitality is open to contestants and families before and after every perf. and slack. All horses must have an accompanying current Certificate of Veterinary Inspection and Negative Coggins test (1 year). CVI and Coggins test are to be in accordance with current state requirements and/or rodeo ground rules. The Rodeo Veterinarian will be checking papers on site. Only healthy livestock are allowed on the grounds. The Rodeo Veterinarian may perform a health assessment on any animal in question and will have final say on whether or not the animal may be on the grounds.
